Happy Birthday Arizona

This week it is not only Valentine's Day but Arizona's birthday. There has been a lot of change over the last 106 years, but many things are still the same. It's up to us to make sure that we make changes in a positive direction and still preserve the things worth remembering. Arizona is a state of many cultures and each has made an important contribution to how our state is today. This Valentine's Day, don't just give your elders candy, give them the gift of your time and attention- ask them how it was to live in Arizona when they were young and try to understand how the things that they experienced made them the people they are today. Try to listen well and learn the things that we still need to improve on as a community and the things that make us strong people. Happy Valentine's Day- everyone is worthy of love and attention each and every day, not just today. Spread the love! :)
