How to stay busy with school closures

You will be responsible for your own learning during at least the next 3 weeks. It will be tempting to sit and do nothing, but how is that helpful? You need to convince yourself that education is important to your future and that you are the one responsible for how your future turns out. Your teachers will give you assignments to do, but you will need to be the one to do them. Doing them by cheating, doesn't help anyone, especially you. Take the time to actually concentrate on learning and you might surprise yourself and learn something new. You won't have the distractions you might have in a classroom, so I'll bet you finish all your work in record time. I will be giving you assignments every day and I hope you will do them so that you are ready to start again when school is back in session. Take time for art, take time for reading, take time for exercise, take time to do some chores and take time for learning and you will see that your days will be filled and interesting. It might be tempting to sit in bed and watch TV or play video games, but I'll bet you get bored pretty fast and begin to feel restless and cranky- no one wants that! This is a very stressful time for everyone, but we will get through it- help your parents out by working around the house, watching little ones or just by being cooperative. Your family is the most important thing you have- love them and care for them. See you when school gets back in session.
