Too much homework?

Are you already complaining about too much homework? Why do you think your teachers give you homework? I believe that homework is important for several reasons. One is that it teaches you to work on your own and be responsible for completing tasks. Your teachers usually give you time in class to work on your papers, and you have a choice: mess around in class and do your work at home (homework) or apply yourself with the time given and do your work as classwork. Every class requires thought and practice but math most of all. To learn math, you have to practice, just like to learn football or violin you have to practice. Nobody complains when their coach asks them to do extra practice to get better, why complain when your teacher does the same? Practice makes perfect...or at least makes you better!
